Student playwrights shine in this two-phase celebration of life: from ghost hunting, origami, weddings and unweddings to the horror of war and the struggle to save a dream. Artistic Director Roy Conboy directs these new plays, along with several student directors. Join us as we welcome our 21st-century theatre makers! FREE ADMISSION

Throughout its existence, the Fringe at San Francisco State has been an opportunity for the diverse and multicultural voices of students. It has produced many plays by Asian American, Latino, African American, gay and lesbian writers, delving deeply and entertainingly into the many aspects of culture represented in the Theatre Arts and Creative Writing programs. Fringe has produced work by nationally and regionally prominent playwrights, including Marcus Gardley, Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, Jonathan Spector, Christopher Chen, Claire Rice and Evelyn Pine.
