Kim Schwartz
Biography
Kim Schwartz (she/her/hers) is currently the Director of the School of Theatre & Dance and the technical direction instructor for the School. Previously, she taught in the Conservatory of Theatre Arts & Film at Purchase College, SUNY. Before that she was part of the Technical Department team at the Metropolitan Opera, where she also worked as a liaison with companies like American Ballet Theatre, Kirov Opera and Kirov Ballet during their events at the Met. She has freelanced as a technical consultant, CAD draftsman, and technical director in Los Angeles, New York City, and the SF Bay Area. She is an ETCP certified rigger in Theatrical Rigging.
