ArVejon Jones (responds to all pronouns) is a Bay Area freelance artist. He has trained and performed in Tap, Hip Hop, West African forms, Jazz, Ballet, Horton Technique, Afro-Haitian, Afro-Brazilian, House, and Vogue. ArVejon has performed in 30+ cities in the United States including performances in the Bates Dance Festival, American Dance Festival, and the Association for Performing Arts Professionals (APAP).  He has also performed internationally in Sweden and Canada. ArVejon’s teaching experience includes the Boston Ballet’s “Education and Outreach Initiative,” Portland’s BodyVox “JAG” program, and LINES/SF Dance Center. He has been nominated three times for the prestigious “Isadora Duncan Dance Award” for his work as a performer in the Bay Area and has been mentioned in Dance Magazine as a contributing artist to Sean Dorsey Dance. He is excited to have the opportunity to be a lecturer at his alma mater!
