Terry Amara Boero is a playwright, director, and actor who has worked in large and small theatres up and down Northern California. She’s drawn to plays about the current state of affairs in these United States and revels in the works of great writers old and new. Her directing credits include Mojada: A Medea In Los Angeles and the musical Color Your World which she co-wrote with Christian Cantrell. Other directing credits include new works by emerging playwrights such as Safiya Martinez’s solo piece, So You Can Hear Me, Brave Battling Autism by Mario Caponi and all of Russ Horvath’s political comedies. She teaches theatre at San Francisco State University and received her MFA in Playwriting and MA in Drama from SFSU. Terry was honored as one of the 35 Faces of Theatre Bay Area for her support of the Lemonade Fund.
