Vicki Hoskins is delighted to be joining the Theatre & Dance faculty in the fall of 2023. Previously, she taught at DePauw University, Siena College, and the College of Saint Rose. Her research focuses on the corporatization of theatre and its effects on theatrical labor as well as audiences. She is currently working on her monograph, which is a materialist history of the theatrical program publisher, Playbill. Her teaching experience includes courses in theatre history, dramatic literature, contemporary theory, and musical theatre. Dr. Hoskins is also an experienced professional dramaturg with a particular interest in new works development and musical theatre dramaturgy, as well as an intimacy choreographer with an interest in telling LGBTQIA+ stories. She holds a Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
