Roxie Johnson

Roxie Johnson will finish her MA in Theatre Arts in Spring 2024. She currently teaches Special Effects, Makeup and Wig Styling Classes at Santa Rosa Junior College. She also works for a number of Bay Area theatre companies designing Hair, Makeup and Wigs. As a designer, she has worked with 6th Street Playhouse, Sonoma Arts Live, Sonoma State University, Los Altos Players, Santa Rosa Junior College, Livermore Valley Opera, Theatreworks and Westedge’s Opera. Her most recent shows include Elf with 6th street, Putnam County Spelling Bee for Theatreworks, and A Christmas Carol for SRJC. Upon graduation she hopes to add teaching Theatre History classes to her resume.
