    TH A 530 - Acting: The Play 

    Mask Characterization with Yuki Goto, Spring Semester 2024

The SFSU School of Theatre & Dance will present Masquerade de Semblance, a mask characterization performance showcase in Spring 2024. 

Don't miss out an opportunity to be a part of this rare and exciting theatre work under the direction of Prof. Yuki Goto!

Cast members will be trained in physical acting through the use of neutral and character masks. A majority of mask training and rehearsals will take place on Fridays (10:00 am-3:00 pm).

Performance dates are 4/25 (TH), 4/26 (FR) and 4/27 (SA) at 2 PM. You must be available on all of these dates.

Casting will be non-traditional and flexible. A one-minute monologue (memorized) of your choice is asked for your audition.

Auditions will be held 11/15 (WED) 12:30 pm-1:30 pm & 11/16 (THURS) 12:30 pm-1:30 pm in CA 21 (signup here)
