Why Study Theatre & Dance at SF State University?

Our School puts on several productions throughout the year, which are always a success, thanks to our hard working students and experienced faculty.  We love to showcase student talent!

Our faculty help our students focus on the details of their work including theatre performance, play development, musical theatre, dance, design/tech and more.

The School of Theatre & Dance is the leading program of its kind in Northern California, it's accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST), and the graduates of the theatre program are prominent in professional theatre throughout the nation, with positions of leadership in theatre, television, film and theatre education.
